Landlords are being urged to take steps to protect their property from the spread of bird flu

Posted October 15, 2018 18:34:04 The Australian government says people should be prepared for the spread in the near future.

The Federal Government said it is putting in place measures to ensure homes are not at risk from the virus.

“Australia is in a very different stage of the bird flu pandemic,” Health Minister Jill Hennessy said.

“We know there are a number of people who have been infected with the virus and we are working with the health authorities to make sure that we can make sure our homes are safe.”

Ms Hennessys department said it will look at ways to protect people who live in buildings where windows are open and closed and if people in other parts of the country have had contact with people who might have had exposure to the virus in their homes.

“These measures will include taking steps to reduce the risk to people living in those areas and the risk of getting infected,” Ms Hennessies department said.

Ms Hennesses department said there are measures being put in place to prevent people in those places from getting infected with bird flu.

“As soon as people are notified they will have to leave their home and the door will be locked so there is no access to the outside world,” she said.

Mr McManus, the ABC’s senior urban affairs reporter, said people living outside their home had been warned to close the windows or doors to their homes as well as the air conditioning.

“People are told to put on a mask and cover up their face.”

I have heard of people in Canberra having to wear face masks.

There’s a lot of people wearing masks around here and I’m sure people will have that precaution.

“Mr McMenus said the warning was being shared by all government departments, including the Federal Government, the states and territories, and the private sector.”

So people are getting the information now, it’s being shared and people are thinking about what they need to do to protect themselves and what they should do to avoid becoming infected,” he said.

He said people in the states should also be aware of the fact that the Federal government is now working with states to make their health systems better, which included setting up a National Health Agency and a National Integrated Polio Eradication Plan.”

There are people in each state that are taking on the responsibilities that they have been asked to and they’re being asked to be responsible for the health of their people,” he told ABC Radio Melbourne.”

And the states are looking to work with each other and work with the Federal Health Minister to ensure that there is a plan in place.
